Probably the fact that when inserting the droppers I didn’t wet them and the O-rings on the droppers were cut off a little played a role, maybe I didn’t put enough cotton wool or it was the droppers themselves, but with the FEV V4.5 S+ from YFTK I had overflows.
This article is intended for people over 18 years of age who want to quit smoking!
This was a shocking fact for me because tanks like Bishop, Era and others have side-flow coils and are spill-proof. This situation was found not only by me, but also by other users of FEV from other clone manufacturers.
There is an opinion on the Internet that the highest quality FEV clone is produced by ULTON, so I decided to assemble the tank myself, since the tank components are sold separately as spare parts.
It should be noted that the FEV tank kit from ULTON costs twice as much as the complete kit from YFTK.
Spare parts from ULTON are supplied in convenient plastic cases.
The ULTON base has modifications compared to the original tank. Two of them are improved stands on which it is convenient to mount the coil and a deepened bath for condensate, the depth of which is 2 millimeters.
There is no Made in Germany engraving on the bottom of the base, but it says Made in China. The pin is not made of brass, but of stainless steel.
I couldn't find a tank for liquid from ULTON and had to take a clone of the Steam tuners tank from YFTK.
The kit included spare o-rings.
The engraving on the tank is done well.
It should be noted that the flask is made of plastic, not glass. The lid is made by CNC machining.
The platform of the Steam tuners tank is narrow and will not fit all mouthpieces. There is a cone for draining condensate from the steam line.
The ULTON dome doesn't have the same polish as the YFTK, but it's all about hole tolerances, not looks, and the ULTON does that well.
The dome comes with only one oring.
The evaporation chamber is narrowed and comparable to some Borough Bridges.
The engraving on the dome is of high quality. It is even applied in the same place as the original.
Once again, I would like to point out that the droppers should only be inserted after you have wet them. I simply poured a drop of liquid into the dropper holes.
The extended air intake screws fit properly, but unlike the YFTK jets, they make a quiet whistling sound when tightened.
The result was a tank comparable in size to the original.
According to taste sensations, the assembled tank is subjectively softer in terms of TX, does not overflow, but sometimes whistles.
