As many times I have already written Chinese products, it makes no sense to review, since the review will not have time to be published as it is no longer relevant. However, even among the Chinese there are products that are not only useful, but also have no analogues in famous companies.
The last of these products that fell into my hands is the DEXP HA133 HDD Docking Station.
I'll lay out a "spoiler" right away: this device has a unique ability to copy hard drives sector-by-sector, that is, having it, you can clone hard drives. You don't need to use Clonezilla or look for or buy a similar disk cloning program. You don't even need a computer to clone disks.
The device is packed in a strong box. As can be seen from the price tag, it is very democratic, in modern times.
At the bottom of the box there is a specification and equipment.
One of the important advantages is the connection with a computer via a USB 3.0 connector.
The packaging is compact and neat.
In addition to the device itself, the kit comes with a cable for connecting to a computer as an external hard drive, a power supply, a specification for the power supply and a user manual. Printed versions in Russian and Kazakh.
Power cable full USB 3.0.
The power supply has a standard connector.
The output voltage of the power supply is 12 volts with a current of 3 amperes, which fully supports the power of two hard drives and the device itself.
The power supply has a voltage indicator LED.
Printed editions are small with microscopic type.
The hard drive cloning device is compact and made of cheap plastic, reminiscent of Chinese consumer goods a la the 90s.
The front panel has all the LEDs necessary for operation, there is even a percentage copy progress indicator.
To facilitate the identification of disks, there are LEDs for connecting the cloned disk and the target disk.
The side surfaces have nothing.
The back has: a single control button, a USB 3.0 connector, a power connector and an off / on button.
It is important that at the bottom there is a sticker with a reminder of power - it is very necessary if the complete power supply fails or is lost. The legs of the device are covered with rubber, which will not allow the docking station to move off the table or it will not be possible to accidentally brush it off the table. It also won't scratch the table.
Under the shutter, you can see the SATA connector, as well as traces of the basement Chinese processing of the mold, which they tried to scratch with something to remove the chips from the cutter.
One of the important bonuses: the docking station supports hard drives up to 8 terabytes.
In addition to supporting drives up to 8 terabytes, with the ability to clone, both drives are defined in the system as two external hard drives.
A docking station for one hard drive has helped me for many years.
However, time is inexorable - the volume that it can support is no longer enough for work.

A very balanced, thoughtful, and useful device. Nothing to complain about.
