Unlike large cities with populations of over a million, smaller cities do not have the opportunity to test and buy perfume products from well‑known manufacturers.
In stores like “Smile of the Rainbow,” “Magnit‑Cosmetic,” and others like them, they sell nothing but trash.
Nevertheless, even among these toilet waters and Chinese knock‑offs of well‑known brands, you can find quite decent perfume for a reasonable price.
One and so far the only representative I have found is the Blanc collection vanilla tobacco from Emperor.
The perfume water was manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, judging by the label.
The box even has a sticker that mimics a holographic sticker, although it’s not actually one.
Interestingly, the box design, printing, and execution are carried out at the highest professional level.
This manufacturer even has its own modern site.
The website is localized in the following languages: UAE, USA, South Africa, and India.
I didn’t find Blanc Collection vanilla tobacco specifically on the website, but there is Epic Adventure, which is also available for sale in Russia.
The lack of interest in selling perfume products at chain stores in the outlying areas is evident even in the pricing: eau de toilette is sold at the price of perfume, and perfume is sold at the price of eau de toilette. Apparently, the price is set based on the design of the perfume bottle, and, in the opinion of the store’s marketers, the kitsch of Epic Adventure is cool.
Unlike Epic Adventure eau de toilette, the Blanc Collection vanilla tobacco has a simply perfect and pleasant‑looking bottle in terms of design and execution.
The bottle has a thick bottom and a pleasant weight. It’s not hard to guess that the concept of the bottle is inspired by Serge Lutens bottles, and that’s a good thing.
The bottle cap is of high quality and has a pleasant weight.
There are no intricate labels on the bottom of the bottle — everything is as cost‑effective as possible and is most likely produced at an OEM perfume factory.
The bottle is covered in dust. European manufacturers now pay attention not only to the dust on the outside of the bottle, but even to the dust inside.
The spray nozzle even has some numbers on it; it has an optimal droplet size and works well.
The consistency of the Blanc Collection vanilla tobacco is fantastic; it allows the perfume water to last on my skin for about three hours, and that’s even though I haven’t let it sit yet.
Despite the fact that the Blanc Collection vanilla tobacco has a nod to the famous Tom Ford fragrance in its name, it has nothing in common in terms of its scent profile and is essentially a clone of Mancera Red Tobacco.
An absolutely identical powerful start that tries to strangle the wearer. The same initial paint-like smell, which transitions into a pleasant tobacco-spice aroma that lingers for several hours.
The fragrance has a good trail that lasts for at least an hour and has excellent diffusion.
You need to be very careful with the amount of this perfume water you apply, otherwise you will find it hard to tolerate its onset, or a migraine may start. It is better to apply the first applications to the knee area, using no more than two sprays.
For the price it’s sold at, it’s simply an excellent gift from the store. You wouldn’t be ashamed to give such a bottle even to someone who knows a thing or two about perfumery.
