Free pattern for a Cumulus backpack by Karlova Design.

Size approx: 14.5" x 13.5" x 2.5".

Materials

You will need about 7 square feet of leather to make this backpack. 5 oz of medium to firm veg or chrome leather for the body. 3-4 oz for the zipper trim and logo patch. 6-7 oz for the straps.

Accessories

2 x 13" zippers (zipper opening length is 12.4") 1 x 8.5" zippers (back zipper opening length is 8.15") 4 snap buttons.

Tools

Scissors, knife (paper knife or rotary cutter will also work) Sewing irons: my pattern is made for 5mm sewing irons (5 stitches per inch). If you want to use any other size, please make sure the number of holes is the same where it should be the same. Needles - according to your thread size, a pair of needle loops. Hammer, rivet setter, punch, 1 inch bag punch (oblong).
