And yet, a bridge that would suit me does exist. And I found it.
This article is intended for people over 18 years of age who want to quit smoking!
This video helped me with this. Ruslan Kosenko. The guy knows a lot about MTL and his videos are unpaid and truthful, so I immediately bought 415 BB RBA MTL as soon as I had the opportunity; however, so far I have only managed to buy a clone from SXK.
This has its downsides - the Chinese wouldn't be Chinese if they didn't screw up any of their products. But let's take things in order.
SXK clones come in recognizable tubes and also have an inscription on them.
Everything is packed in separate plastic bags. There is nothing to complain about - nothing rubs against each other during shipment.
I bought not only a clone bridge, but also a used one. As you can see, the previous owner prefers, like Russian reviewers, to install a huge coil (heating spiral) in the MTL device, give power of about 40 watts, and then carry a wave that everything burns. There are a lot of foreign reviews of MTL devices, you could see what people who are friends with their heads install. All of the above does not apply to the seller of this bridge, who is most likely a victim of marketing / circumstances.
Changing the conditions for steam production occurs not by changing the dome, as with some manufacturers, but by changing the stand/nozzle.
The nozzle by default has two holes with a diameter of about 0.8 millimeters. The second nozzle has an oval-shaped outlet. These shapes are best for blowing the coil, unlike simply round nozzles, which simply hit one point of the coil.
In addition to the racks/nozzles, the air flow is regulated by MTL jets with presumably 0.8, 1 and 1.2 mm holes. The jets are not labeled, but this makes no sense, since the blowing system is different from the usual one, so you do not get the same tightening effect as on a regular tank/bridge with lower blowing.
Please note that the developer does not rely on just a threaded connection, but also installs a rubber gasket to prevent leaks along the rack. With other manufacturers, I had to install this o-ring myself.
The liquid is supplied into two trays with two small holes. The principle of liquid supply is similar to that of Kayfun. Putting cotton wool into such trays is as simple as possible, and the principle maximally protects against leaks.
One of the big pluses is that the nozzle is at a good level from the bottom of the base, which prevents condensation from getting into the nozzle and the subsequent "sniffing snot" effect when inhaling.
Another advantage is the normal-sized screws for clamping the coil. Some manufacturers have screws that are difficult to even see. In addition, it is possible to install a coil with both right and left winding. It is also possible to install the coil both up and down. Thanks to the special design, the coil immediately fits under the screw and the installation of the coil is extremely simple, even without special guides on the sides of the base.
Despite the terrible metal processing in the photo - it is visible only in macro photography; the bridge has the highest quality processing, both in the original and in the clone.
For normal liquid supply, when the bridge base rests against the bottom of the tank, the developers have thought out two cutouts in the base body. The supply holes will not close in any case.
It is also worth mentioning that the steam pipe shaft has a thread. In cases where the steam pipe shaft simply sits through a rubber seal, there are times when, when unscrewing the dripper (mouthpiece) mounting nut, it simply falls off, flooding everything.
In addition to the fact that the steam pipeline shaft has a thread, the dome has a special shape with an o-ring, which makes the connection as reliable and invisible as possible.
The dome has a spherical shape and has the highest quality processing. The dome fits tightly and with a characteristic click.
For winding I took Clapton28 + 38 from Kanthal A1, as it is optimally made for good taste in MTL.
With five turns of 2.5 mm diameter I get 0.93 Ohm.
The wire is elastic and requires skill, so if possible, it is better to buy ready-made coils with a diameter of 2 - 2.5 millimeters.
In this case, it is clear that I took more cotton wool than necessary, but I like this arrangement better - I am sure that nothing will leak anywhere.
Google Translate couldn't handle what the Chinese had scribbled on the sides of the bridge. Theoretically, there should be Japanese characters there, since the original bridge was designed and manufactured in Japan.
The bridge fits as tightly as possible into the tank, both at the steam line and at the base.
When trying to burn it, an unpleasant feature of the Chinese clone was revealed - it is shorter than necessary. If in the tank it is possible to adjust it with a nut, then when burning in an adapter it is impossible.
Also, the number of turns for the 510 connector is less than necessary. You will have to look for a torch or a device with the maximum protruding pin of the 510 connector.
In this version, everything works fine for me at 10 watts. What 40 watts with a 0.3 Ohm coil in MTL??? I could have just kept quiet, but these junkies are foaming at the mouth proving that they have True MTL.
This is the only bridge that does not pee when carried in any position and the only bridge that I have ever come across with such high-quality dense steam and elastic, natural tightening.
Well done, Japanese - no super-duper names, just numbers, but what an amazing result - the taste is sufficient and precise without unnecessary sweetness and being overwhelmed by chemicals, the TX is moderate (I personally have it)!
