Heezy Tobacco Heating System Review for Heechi Sticks

I wrote about Heechi sticks earlier, but at that time the device specially designed for these sticks did not have time to pass certification. And now, finally, there is an opportunity to purchase a Heezy tobacco heating system.

I would like to clarify right away that by using tobacco heating systems instead of cigarettes you are exchanging one evil for another, since the use of nicotine is harmful to your health in any case. There are no harmless ways of using any alkaloids!

It should be noted right away that the Heezy tobacco heating system (THS) has eliminated some of the shortcomings of iQOS devices up to generation 3.2, which includes iQOS 3 DUOS devices.

It is necessary to realize that the current version of iQOS - iQOS Iluma does not have the disadvantage of constant cleaning with alcohol cotton swabs from carbon deposits, but this system is not available to Russians, therefore SNT Heezy, at the moment, is the best system for heating tobacco.

The design of the box is comparable to the SNT iQOS; you immediately understand what you paid for, which is twice the cost of iQOS 3 DUOS in Krasnoe i Beloe at the moment.

Some reviewers who have their own business in the vape industry and are unable to do a normal job of designing their products, say that the box is not important. As a consumer and manufacturer, I say: It is important, very important.

The box is covered with high-quality paper with leather-like embossing.

The lid has magnetic latches.

There is nothing on the box except for the Heezy embossing.

Unlike the sticks, which originate from Malaysia, SNT Heezy is made in China.

Despite its origin, the device immediately attracts attention at first glance. This is facilitated by the competently chosen colors: bronze, green and black.

There is an instruction manual in Russian and English on the bottom of the box. I highly recommend reading it. I have attached it at the end of the article and you can download it. I was surprised not by the fact that there is an instruction manual in Russian, but by the fact that it is well-written, probably the Chinese had more hand and brains in this than the Russians.

Also included: a filter change tool, three spare filters and a USB Type-C cable.

To change the filter, you need to remove the silicone ring with a tool, and then remove the filter. The filter absorbs excess moisture and harmful substances and must be changed every 3 months, depending on the intensity of smoking. It turns out that the kit includes 4 filters, which is enough, theoretically, for a year of use.

Heezy has one control button on the end of the device and four status indicator LEDs. When you briefly press the button, the device will show the current battery level. When you press it for two seconds, if there is a stick in the shaft, the device will turn on after vibration, the indicators will start flashing and, after full heating, will indicate how much time is left until the end of the session.

The device will automatically turn off after 400 seconds of vaping or 16 puffs, whichever comes first. The device will vibrate before the session ends.

Heezy is very well made and feels great in the hand; it has an anodized aluminum body and a soft touch coating on the bottom.

The shaft opening has a polygonal shape and it is not immediately clear what to do with the stick. It turns out that everything is simple - you need to push the stick into the opening until it stops so that the strip on the stick coincides with the surface of the Heezy. The sticks fit very tightly, so you need to be careful, while the filter is slightly pressed into the sleeve, which I did not notice in the test samples.

It is better to use sticks that are designed specifically for Heezy - these are Heechi and Bonzi, because if you try to insert low-quality sticks from Phillip Morris, even if they go into the shaft and do not break, it is not a fact that you will be able to take them out.

Unfortunately, the distributor's website does not describe how the stick heats up, and I don't want to disassemble a new device that I bought with my own money. I can only assume that the heating occurs due to the grid, which is visible when held up to the light.

This thought is also suggested by the fact that darkening from heating occurs precisely at the edge of the stick.

Due to the fact that there is a lever for the presence of a stick in the shaft, the heating is automatically turned off. For example, if you need to quickly stop the process, simply remove the stick and press the button.

During the session, the air intake opening must not be closed, otherwise the air supply will stop.

The Heezy tobacco heating system has a fast charging system, which is very convenient and progressive. The maximum charging current of the device is 2 Amperes at 9 Volts and 5 Volts.

The device cannot work while charging and that's good.

One of the main advantages of Heezy over iQOS and, especially, simpler devices, is that Heezy has a pause mode. For example, you started a session, but you need to quickly stop it, and it’s a pity to throw away the stick; in this case, you need to quickly press the button twice. To resume the session again, you need to press it twice again or once long.

And finally about the taste. The taste is noble - it has nothing in common with the notorious sticks for iQOS. It has no stench similar to the vital activity of organisms.

The strength is above average - enough to make even a heavy smoker quit smoking.

At the moment, five flavors of sticks are produced: mint menthol, tobacco, strong tobacco and berry.

If you insert Heechi sticks into iQOS, the taste is richer, but it doesn't hit you in the head as much and the buzz is lower.

When using Heezy, the Heechi sticks exhibit a distinct throat hit, which greatly affects the high and is comparable to the KENT sticks on the GLO. The same sticks on the iQOS devices do not exhibit any throat hit. Interestingly, the tobacco flavor has a smaller throat hit.

If you want a richer taste, then instead of long pressing, after installing the stick, you need to quickly press the button 3 times, this will turn on the Turbo mode. I like this mode more in terms of taste, but the session time is reduced to 270 seconds or 10 puffs.
