As I wrote in the review of glo™ HYPER X2, it is good for everyone, but one charge is not enough for a day, but it charges 3.5! hours, so it’s impossible to get by with just one system. I decided to see what they eat in stores, and for good reason.
I would like to clarify right away that by using tobacco heating systems instead of cigarettes, you are exchanging one evil for another, since the use of nicotine is harmful to your health in any case. There are no harmless ways to consume any alkaloids!
This article is intended for people over 18 years of age who want to quit smoking!
First of all, I went to Krasnoe i Beloe, since I mainly bought SNT (tobacco heating systems) there. The sellers amused us with their ignorance of the assortment of what they sell, as well as a complete lack of understanding of what they are asking. They simply haven’t heard about tobacco heating systems. The degradation of sellers' competence after a wage reduction is immediately visible.
I found a small device in a small store.
Perhaps I wouldn’t write about the device “about anything” if it weren’t for the Heechi sticks, and since the overall impression was the combination of the device and the sticks, I’ll describe them in one article.
THS Lono is made for its own sticks, but since the sticks for Lono do not contain tobacco in any form at all, but are made from tea leaves and impregnated with nicotine, they are of no interest to me.
The device is made in China, but there is a website in Russian: lonostick.ru.
The Lono tobacco heating system comes in a nice, strict box.
On the bottom side of the box there is all the necessary information, which is very convenient - it allows you to find out all the necessary information at once.
There is no way to hide the Chinese roots of the device - there is no gasket between the device and the box.
As a result, the matte finish has a white coating from the paper.
Interestingly, there is a coating even on the back of the device.
The box itself does not suffer much from friction.
At the bottom of the box there is only a stub USB Type C cable of dubious quality and an instruction sheet in English.
The instructions also contain the device specification.
The device has smart control of tip heating. The tip doesn't get as hot as the lil Solid 2.0, so the vapor isn't as hot and the vaping experience is smoother throughout the entire session.
A vaping/smoking session lasts 300 seconds (5 minutes) or 17 puffs, which is enough to simulate the smoking process.
To turn it on, you need to press and hold the power button for three seconds.
The device body is metal with two plastic inserts on the top and bottom. The device is light and small. Dimensions are: 92 x 26 x 16.5 millimeters.
The Type C connector for charging the device is located on the bottom of the device. Charging occurs at a voltage of 5 Volts and 1 Ampere. The battery has a capacity of 900 milliamps per hour, which is enough for 14 sticks, which clearly falls short of 20 sticks in a standard pack.
The air intake comes from above and, passing to the stick, at the same time cools the walls of the device and heats itself up, to save energy. The stick is inserted and removed by carefully screwing/unscrewing it into the heating shaft.
The cap of the device has metal inserts for attaching to magnets.
The cap is secured using magnets.
The heating rod is not as thick as the lil from Philip Morris. I didn’t find any dirt or condensation after two packs of sticks; while iQOS would be covered in dirt and require cleaning.
SNT Lono, in addition to the fact that it has a small battery charge, has another significant drawback - its hefty price tag; it costs twice as much as British American Tobacco's branded, premium glo tobacco heating systems. It is not clear what this abnormal price is due to, the appetites of the Chinese or the Russian reseller.
In addition, during the session it is not clear how much time is left, and you can only check the battery status by pressing a button: green shows a normal charge, blue shows a low charge, red is practically not shown, because it is turned off immediately at a critical level.
The positive impression from this device was only thanks to the Heechi sticks.
And finally, I got to the hero of this article - the Heechi stick.
After the Lono device warmed up, I took a puff and was simply shocked: the vapor was as close as possible to the taste of high-quality expensive cigarettes, already forgotten in Russia. The steam was thick, tasty and amazing.
I was able to buy only two flavors for decent money - a tobacco flavor called BROWN and a pronounced menthol flavor called JADE.
There are five flavors of Heechi sticks: YELLOW, OCEAN, JADE, BROWN and BLUE.
The sticks are manufactured for export in Indonesia.
The menthol taste is pronounced and is as similar as possible to Kent Switch cigarettes with a menthol button.
In Russia, this product is represented by Chillandtrade LLC.
These sticks were a real pleasure. There are so many emotions, but as it happens, you don’t even know how to describe it in the text, and this is not surprising - for the production of these sticks, about 10 - 14 varieties of various tobaccos from all over the world were selected to mix them to create the best aromas.
The pack contains 20 sticks.
Interestingly, the sticks have less tobacco - 4 grams versus 5.3 for Philip Morris.
The design of the pack is similar to the Fiit packs for lil and heets for iqos, but the design is more strict and pleasant, with an embossed HEECHI inscription.
Design specially made for Heezy.
Haechi sticks are thicker and better quality than Fiit sticks.
The sticks do not have the name of the flavor written on them. This does not cause any problem, since you can immediately determine which stick you have in your hands by the amazing aroma and there is no need to convince your brain of this with the inscription.
On one side there is a dense high-quality filter.
At the other end, the stick is covered with a special material that prevents granules from spilling into the heating chamber and the stick does not stain your device AT ALL and even, on the contrary, cleans your sting.
If in devices from Philip Morris of the previous generation the sticks dirty the device quite a lot, then with Heechi sticks this problem is minimized.
Heechi sticks, unlike heets and fiits, do not contain rolled tobacco dust, but granules with innovative technology for increasing the thermal conductivity of tobacco granules (TGs).
To create different flavors and impart a roasted flavor to the tobacco, it is roasted under special temperature control.
After the tobacco is roasted, small pores appear on its surface, which give a richer aroma. After which the tobacco is granulated.
The steam from Heechi sticks is dense, rich and does not burn your mouth.
The vaping process during a session occurs from start to finish at the same level, that is, you smoke like a regular cigarette, enjoy it and are not nervous about running out of steam after three puffs, like Philip Morris sticks.
This is what Philip Morris sticks in Russia should be like, but the manufacturer’s greed is probably immeasurable. Philip Morris representatives say: "Smoke another stick if you don't have enough." Greed will eventually destroy the tobacco companies.
I really wish Heezy development and I’m really looking forward to when Heechi sticks appear on wide sale in Russia.
