Review of the glo™ HYPER X2 tobacco heating system

I saw a YouTube video from Kirill about the new glo™ AIR device. I looked through all the stores and didn’t find it, but I found a device that I really liked.

I would like to clarify right away that by using tobacco heating systems instead of cigarettes, you are exchanging one evil for another, since the use of nicotine is harmful to your health in any case. There are no harmless ways to consume any alkaloids!

Before writing the article, I thought that it was necessary to mention about premium industrial design. I went to the myglo website and, lo and behold, glo™ HYPER X2 not only has a stunning industrial design, but even has a premium.

In addition to glo HYPER X2, the store also had glo HYPER+, but since I have it, I decided to look at glo™ HYPER X2 to find out what has changed since the purchase of glo HYPER+, since I am beginning to understand that the last time I quit smoking it was the tobacco heating system Ploom S. At the moment, there are no sticks or Ploom device in stores and, realizing that this time even salt disposable nicotine delivery systems (disposables), not to mention alkaline liquid for vaping, will not help me completely get off cigarettes, I decided to purchase Glo system.

In order to entertain yourself, it is not necessary to have a theater or other cultural enlightenment institution in the city in the Urals - just try to buy something in a store. You will definitely encounter a situation that is difficult to imagine.

The seals on the box were broken - someone had already opened it, but the saleswoman could not open the box.

Still, with some effort, I was able to open the box. The reason turned out to be simple - the box was filled with sticky liquid, probably the result of orgies directly on the product. I didn't find any other option.

Seeing that the glo™ HYPER X2 is so well made and fits perfectly in the hand, I decided to take it anyway, despite my doubts due to it being flooded with something.

The device itself turned out to be clean and lay quietly in a thick cardboard backing.

The kit includes a good, but short USB Type C cable.

Also included is a cleaning brush, at the end of which there is a key to open the heating chamber plug.

In addition, there is a card, but only for Japanese users, so it is useless for Russians and a warning appears that Russia is not supported.

glo™ HYPER X2 has a cool, discreet design. The device consists of two parts: a metal tube and a plastic case with a soft-touch coating.

The device itself is small. On one side there is the address of the copyright holder.

There are two buttons on the end: a small one is responsible for starting the device in turbo mode, and a large button is responsible for normal operation mode. To turn it on or turn it off, you need to keep the button pressed for a few seconds.

The upper part consists of a heating shaft, closed with curtains and an LED indicator.

The indicator has four segments, indicating with an accuracy of 25% the charge level and how much smoking/vaping time remains. This indicator is not visible in the sun. Therefore, it is very good that the device has a vibration motor. which indicates the device is ready for smoking, the vibration motor also works 10 seconds before the end of the session.

The shaft curtains are interestingly opened using a ring with a protrusion. The ring has an excellent tactile response.

There is a faintly illuminated glo logo on the bottom.

The lower part is dotted with certificates and also has a heating chamber cover.

The lid can be conveniently unscrewed with the back of a brush for cleaning.

To ensure that the cleaning brush fits properly, there is a rubber o-ring.

It is recommended to clean the heating chamber after each pack of sticks and wipe off condensation after five sessions. I didn’t find any garbage after the pack of sticks. There was no condensation at all.

Air is supplied to the heating chamber through thin slots in the lid of the stick heating chamber.

glo™ HYPER X2 is very compact - it is slightly larger than a Zippo lighter and slightly smaller than a standard pack of cigarettes.

The stick is slightly smaller and thinner than a standard cigarette at 84 millimeters.

The stick consists of paper with foil, tobacco and a carbon filter. Due to the heating of the cardboard sleeve in the middle part of the stick, there is a peculiar taste of burnt paper. If the heating element was located a little lower, the paper sleeve would not heat up as much.

Despite the peculiar taste, glo smokes well, so there is a greater chance of quitting smoking than with vaping.
