English (United Kingdom) This is already the third purchase of perfume from Gerini - I was really attracted by the price for a niche Italian perfume made in France.
Of course, there are questions about the longevity of the previous perfumes Seductive Cinnamon and Coumarin from Gerini, but I hope that they will stand up to their strength and will ultimately be as long-lasting as stated.
Besides the selection at the Randewoo store, I like how carefully they package the goods for delivery within Russia.
The packaging of this perfume is different from the Gerini perfume I bought before - the cellophane film is thinner and of lower quality.
The perfume comes in a sturdy craft box, which in my opinion is more interesting than boxes with horse heads and speckles.
This line of perfumes is inspired by Arabic motifs and is indeed reminiscent of them, but with a European twist, without the heaviness that crushes the psyche after a few hours, even if you dilute Arabic perfumes five times. So why Gerini, when you could try something from Mancera, for example, with its proven killer longevity, or stick with Arabic perfumes? Something caught my attention. I like the play of aromas, which is absent from Arabic perfumes. Moreover, due to the war in Iran, prices in Russia have risen significantly, but this line remains affordable.

As you can see, the alcohol content is only 70%, which is consistent with modern perfumes (in the 20th century, the term "perfume" meant a different consistency).

Despite the Italian brand, the perfume is made in France.
I couldn't find a way to check the batch code. The QR code simply leads to a website page.
On the bottom of the box, a safety notice is included, along with a brief excerpt:

There is a large amount of paper inside the box to protect it from light.
The paper contains a pouch with the company logo and name, along with the words "EXTRAIT DE PARFUM," which also indicates that this is a concentrate. The pouch serves several functions: it improves presentation, protects against sudden temperature changes, and its black color protects against sunlight.
The bottle has the strict shape typical of this line. The stripe with the EXTRAIT DE PAHFUM inscription is a different color for each fragrance.
The back of the bottle is engraved with the Gerini company name.
The bottle cap is made of wood with a plastic interior.
The bottom of the bottle features the company logo. Unlike other Gerini fragrances, there's no number on this bottle.
I couldn't find a number anywhere in the inscription or on the bottom of the bottles to verify the batch code.
The inscription is engraved around the perimeter of the bottom. In this fragrance, the inscription runs in a single row around the perimeter.
The base and inscription are completely ruined by enormous scratches and pits.
One can only hope that this perfume is genuine. The different engravings on the bottom of the bottles, the lack of a batch code, and the varying quality of the cellophane wrap raise all sorts of doubts.
I expected to smell a heavenly forest in this perfume, judging by the name—something fresh, the freshness of a spring-summer forest with its cool breeze from the pond and trees. However, I distinctly smelled a path through a damp forest, with the scent of damp, mossy tree bark. At the end of the path is a sawmill with damp sawdust rotting from the moisture. The ends of the split boards exude the aroma of pine resin. I can't find any similarities with any other perfume. The scent has no sillage, extremely brutal and dark. It's hard to say whether it's suitable for an office or for young people.
Just as Mancera Red Tobacco evokes the scent of a lacquered coffin more than cheerful apples, Gerini Heavenly Wood evokes a dark, damp forest. Over time, the scent softens, becoming more like the scent of pine resin.
It's a bit weak on the road—after driving, it's only noticeable close to the skin for half an hour.
Considering that Gerini Heavenly Wood is sold as a perfume, and handcrafted at a very reasonable price, I recommend it to lovers of niche, unique fragrances.
The mood itself—not the scent, but the mood itself—is reminiscent, in a subtle form, of Chopard's Black Incense Malaki.
