There was only one device of this format in the local store, namely the Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B from Lost Vape. I watched videos on YouTube of Russian vape device reviewers. Everyone crap on him in their reviews, and with good reason. But do these complaints relate to the actual use of a particular device? I decided to hold the box in the store in my hands. He held it, twisted it and could no longer let it out of his hands. This is what I had in my head in my desires - a tightly knit block, small in size and of good weight. You are holding a thing in your hands, not a plastic Chinese toy.

It should be immediately pointed out that in its configuration, in this price category, the Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B from Lost Vape simply has no competitors. That is, for this price it is impossible to buy even just a box, not to mention two tanks included.

Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B comes in a nice box that matches the color of the device itself.

On one of the sides of the box the device features are indicated, such as:

maximum output power 80 watts

two operating modes, the first for working with evaporators and the second for RBA base

one 18650 battery

there is a mode of operation with ultra evaporators

replacement covers for the housing.

At the bottom there is a sticker with a QR code, with which you can check the originality of the delivery. You can also view the delivery package. The device is made in China.

All necessary documentation is included.

Interestingly, the manufacturer itself only provides a 3-month warranty for its device.

Along with the documentation there is a key for the tank fastening nut.

Next is a box with accessories and the device itself.

The box with accessories contains: two mouthpieces (drip tips), a screwdriver, orings (rubber gaskets), adapters for a 510 connector (for the RBA base), jets for the tank, spare screws.

The black mouthpiece is small, but optimal in size. Does not cause discomfort.

I did not notice any need to change it, although it can be replaced with excellent mouthpieces from Berserker B3.

The hole dimensions of the mouthpieces are designed for free tightening. There are no problems with MTL cigarette puffs either.

The second mouthpiece is fin type. It is based on a metal tube with protrusions with which you can unscrew the tank clamp nut.

The kit contains everything necessary to service the device.

Also included is a replacement shaft for installing the complete tank in other devices. The downside to this shaft is that it is not the correct size and does not fit the other tanks even though it should.

One of the disadvantages of the device is that the jets (aka pins) are not labeled, however, it is not a problem to understand what diameter of the hole they have.

Also one of the disadvantages is the meager selection of jets. There are only 1, 2, and 3 millimeters, which is already in the bridge (that is, preinstalled). The manufacturer wanted to produce the most universal device possible, but the budget was tight. In principle, for me a 1 mm jet is as comfortable as possible.

It should be taken into account when replacing the jet that they do not have pre-installed orings (round rings)! You need to install them yourself.

Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B is available in a zinc alloy metal case and plastic covers. The colors of the case and covers are very different, they even have pictures. There are also interesting caps on the Chinese resource.

The covers, in my copy, have play within the technological gap. If you don’t deliberately loosen them, this will not cause any discomfort.

The box has the optimal weight to feel what you spent your money on.

A tank for replacement evaporators is pre-installed.

The button is in the optimal place for my hand. The response is clear and pleasant. The screen is the size of a nail plate, it’s amazing that you can still see something on it.

The Type C connector has fast charging. The battery charges very quickly with a 2 Amp power supply.

On the bottom edge there are holes for the release of battery gases.

On the side there are holes for air that enters the tank. I can't close them with my hand.

There is nothing on the back.

On the top edge there is a tank clamp nut. The mouthpiece is also installed in it.

One more drawback should be taken into account - the clamping nut is not standard and is not suitable for other devices.

The plastic lids are held on by magnets that are pressed into the plastic lids.

The covers are covered with a protective film by the manufacturer.

The transparent covers are made of plexiglass type plastic and, in theory, should inevitably crack at points of stress.

My device has transparent covers and bare silver metal and is in no way disfigured by the work of any pseudo-artists.

The control panel is covered with a beautiful interior, which can also be changed.

The board produces power up to 80 watts. It’s not entirely clear why such a small device needs so much power. If I were the manufacturer, I would sharpen them only for MTL, but in order to cover a larger market, manufacturers make their devices universal.

Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B is powered by one 18650 battery. The battery compartment has a good spring-loaded contact, this is not some cheap plate that will oxidize and constantly change the resistance of the power circuit.

You can see a small crack on the housing, near the magnet housing.

You can also see a crack near the magnet next to the negative terminal.

These cracks are not visible to the ordinary eye without magnification, but it is clear that the magnets were pressed into the case in a cold state and the manufacturer needs to change either the technical process or change the plastic to ABS.

The case is made of zinc alloy and the wall thickness does not exceed 1 millimeter, which also raises questions. It is clear that the device’s body will withstand at least one drop on a hard surface. If I were the manufacturer, I would produce devices made of stainless steel or at least brass, although this would cause a significant increase in weight and price.

It is clear that transparent plastic will be scratched over time, but you can generally make it matte or paint it.

Unfortunately, custom covers have open slots in the battery compartment and, accordingly, the battery remains unprotected.

The device has a tank for using evaporators. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has focused on using free-puff vaporizers, so for comfortable use with a cigarette puff, you need to change the tank.

To change the tank, it is convenient to use the supplied wrench, with which you need to unscrew the tank securing nut, which is located on top counterclockwise.

I repeat once again: the nut has its own thread and does not fit with others, as well as from other devices. Fortunately, a Chinese resource sells sets of nuts for different threads.

Due to the fact that the body is made of soft zinc alloy, there is no need to exert much effort when tightening the nut; In addition, it can damage the tank.

To use a tank with evaporators, the manufacturer installed two gold-plated, spring-loaded, sealed contacts. When installing third-party tanks, there will be problems with installation\removal. For comfortable installation of third-party devices, you need to place a cardboard or plastic plate.

The kit includes two evaporators with a resistance of 0.15 and 0.2 Ohm.

It is commendable that both vaporizers are sealed to prevent dirt and foreign odors from vaping.

Please note that you cannot use salt liquids with a strength of 20 milligrams per milliliter or higher with these evaporators if you want to preserve your health and life. In addition, with such powerful evaporators, liquids intended for subsystems will be very tasteless due to over-aroma.

The optimal liquids that were meant for such a powerful system are 3 - 6 milligrams per milliliter of alkaline liquid with a ratio of 70 \ 30.

The capacity of the cartridge tank is 5 milliliters.

There is an adjustment ring to adjust the airflow on the evaporators.

It makes no sense to describe further the operation of the tank with evaporators, as I purchased the device in order to quit smoking cigarettes, and not in order to replace one bad habit with another. I think there is no need to prove that vaping is not a harmless activity and is not intended by nature, and it has not yet been proven which is more harmless, smoking high-quality tobacco or vaping.

A tank with an RBA base (a tank with a spiral and cotton wool, installed manually) has no frills, and it’s not necessary, because its purpose is to be a workhorse.

It is important to remember that the air intake hole must be turned towards the lid.

In order to regulate the density of air pressure on the evaporation coil, jets are provided, in which there are holes of different diameters. By changing jets with different diameters, we change the tightening density.

Despite the fact that the shaft through which the gas mixture flows after evaporation has a diameter of about 4 millimeters, that is, for a cigarette puff, the kit includes jets for a free puff.

At the bottom of the side face there is also a hole for air intake and supply through the cotton wool into the evaporation chamber.

The quality of the evaporation chamber dome is at a sufficient level.

As noted by some reviewers, the base was copied from the Pioneer base.

In addition to the two racks, there is a small shaft to deflect the flow of steam upward.

In order to change the jet, it is necessary to remove the bridge with the jet vertically upward.

After unscrewing the nozzle counterclockwise, you can pull it out, but it is important not to lose the insulator, since the nozzle also acts as a contact for supplying voltage to the stand, and then to the spiral. There is no spare insulator included.

To check the correct use of the orings, I measured their assembled diameter.

This jet was pre-installed.

This is a jet with a hole diameter of 1 millimeter when assembled.

As can be seen by measuring with a primitive means, there is almost no difference.

In addition to the fact that when unscrewing the nozzle insulator flies out, the support for attaching the spiral and supplying voltage also falls out.

The fact that the bridge is completely disassembled has positive properties - you can wash it well.

One of the most significant disadvantages that this tank has is that the length of the nozzle thread does not coincide in length with the thread of the stand.

Also, the nozzle must not only be completely screwed in along the entire length of the thread, but also have a protruding cone so that condensate does not go into the nozzle holes.

What disadvantages does this give? For some users, steam condensation got into the nozzle holes and a squelching sound occurred, as if you were pushing snot back and forth in your nose.

I didn’t have such a problem, but this may be due to the short period of time I used this device. It is not a fact that this trouble will not affect you.

To make the tank for different tightening, the manufacturer made TWO huge liquid supply holes on each side, which entails certain problems when laying the wool.

In order to properly install the spiral and cotton wool, you need to have another device, which brings certain inconveniences, but this is the specificity of this type of device.

It is necessary to put the adapter nut on the 510 connector.

Next you need to transfer everything to a third-party device. In this case, the Thelema Solo 100W box mod is used, also from Lost vape.

Next, we put the spiral on the mandrel. In this case, a coil with a single core is used so that there is no extraneous noise or clicking when vaping.

The spiral is conveniently installed in racks and clamped.

Particular attention should be paid to cutting the ends of the helix to avoid short circuiting to the dome body.

The difficulty in installing the wool lies in the fact that the base has large cuts for supplying liquid, and they must be closed to prevent liquid leaks.

However, if you use the entire 2.5 millimeter braid without forking, you will get the effect that I got: on the first puff there is a strong pop, with subsequent puffs the steam will become less and less. That is, a large amount of aerosol from air, liquid, condensation and steam creates a mixture that creates pop on the first puff. Further, the liquid will not have time to wet such a large amount of cotton wool and the steam will become less and less. As an option, you need to use a liquid with a ratio of 50 \ 50 or less cotton wool.

How much cotton wool is needed when using a certain liquid is determined experimentally.

This amount of cotton wool cannot be used with liquids of 80\20 - 70\30, and even with 50\50 there will be a lot.

It seems like a small question, but nevertheless I had to visit several resources to get an answer. Most vape resources are simply dead. I received the answer in Misha Korobka’s telegram chat. However, after I received it, I was banned from the chat and I could no longer gain access. It was not possible to find out the reason for blocking my account. The forums indicate the reason for blocking an account, but this does not happen in Telegram chats. It seems that in the chats of vapers, young children were released from special detention centers and, having smoked salt nicotine, they went to admin.

Regarding the taste transmission of this device. In this case, I used Tabacconist To The World The Liq from the American company TabacconistLAB with a 50/50 ratio and 3 strength.

The taste is slightly lower than that of Berserker B3 and this is understandable - the volume of the evaporation chamber of the Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B is significantly smaller than that of Berserker B3.

It is also worth considering that classic liquids have significantly less flavorings than modern liquids. On the one hand, this is a plus - it does not completely kill the receptors in the mouth, which are already spoiled by tobacco; on the other hand, a classic liquid cannot compete in brightness and rich sensations with modern ones, not to mention disposable systems or tobacco heating systems.

I always have the urge to pour a saline Malaysian liquid into the mod, but I understand that a sophisticated eau de toilette does not hit the nose like a triple cologne, but rather has a subtle touch, like a veil or mist at dawn. At the moment I am using flavorings, the concentration of which will be reduced.

Before using the coil for the first time, it must be burned at low power. This is done so that the engine oil and foreign impurities burn out, as well as eliminate the interturn short circuit.

Thelema Solo 100W box mod shows 0.75 Ohm.

Next, we wet our cotton wool with liquid. Let me emphasize once again that such an amount of cotton wool is not lethal, but it is also wrong.

Next, we insert our tank into the body so that the airflow holes are facing you and tighten the nut. In this tank, the bridge shifts relative to the vertical axis when the nut is tightened, but in my case the tank has a practical purpose, not an aesthetic one.

Centaurus B80 AIO LSVP-90-B shows 0.73 Ohm, which is almost no different from the box mod readings. It should be noted that these readings are in parrots, since both of my devices are not reference and are not calibrated.

The weight including battery and fluid tank is 211 grams, almost the same as the Zayon.

The miracle is that a full-fledged device, with a serviceable tank, a good battery and a powerful board, is smaller than a standard pack of cigarettes.

Operation has shown that this particular device does not pee anywhere, does not sweat or creak.

For all its shortcomings, this is my favorite at the moment. Now I can understand the box people in their passion.
